What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Tba & Oil Warehouse?
TBA is a family owned small business since 1974. We sell and deliver auto parts to our customers. We are looking for responsible Delivery Drivers to distribute products promptly to our customers driving a company vehicle. We have several different locations around Indiana, including several in the Indianapolis area, Muncie, Anderson, Avon, Greenfield, Noblesville, and Carmel. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Driver Responsibilities
- Use a smartphone to receive orders and follow routes
- Drop off and or pick-up items from customers while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules
- Review invoices before delivery to ensure they are complete and match parts being delivered.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
- Accept payments for delivered items
- Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional, answering questions, handling customer complaints and forwarding major issues to dispatcher or GM
- Abide by ALL transportation laws
- Drive safely and consider all weather conditions
- Perform daily vehicle inspection before leaving each morning: reporting any issues with dispatcher
- ALWAYS keep TBA's best interest in mind
Driver Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid and Clean driving record
- Be able to lift 50lbs
- 1 year experience in related field
