This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, with a focus on safe lifting practices and route excellence.
Responsibilities
- Transport auto parts using a company vehicle designated for delivery purposes
- Conduct thorough inspections of deliveries to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies during all driving activities
- Manage warehouse operations related to stock movement, including manual handling and moving items within storage areas
- Maintain clear communication via mobile devices to coordinate deliveries and updates with the team
- Load and unload auto parts efficiently while practicing safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering parts promptly and professionally at each stop
- Pick up part returns and load battery cores onto skids for return and accurately fill out RGA's for returns
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services with a focus on heavy lifting and manual handling
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driver roles preferred
- Familiarity with route driving, traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance standards
- Experience using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and manual handling in accordance with safe lifting practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow delivery schedules accurately
- Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills
