The primary purpose of this position is to assist TBACU to live out its mission, “To serve our community and build trusted relationships.” A key component of this service is to identify members’ needs and provide appropriate TBACU product solutions which ultimately helps grow the credit union.  

Support and maintain workplace technology and respond to internal and external end-user requests for help.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Provide end-user and desktop support, receiving and responding to internal software and hardware user needs timely. 
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance and security of credit union servers and systems.
  • Assist with deployment and configuration of workstations, laptops and related peripheral hardware and components. 
  • Update and maintain accurate inventory records, including hardware, software, peripherals, components, etc.
  • Create and assist with documentation of IT related procedures within various departments and for end users.
  • Perform technology related troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Provide technical support for TBACU sponsored/hosted events.
  • Assist with emergency response for technical failures.
  • Contribute as collaborative member of the IT team.
  • Maintain up-to-date skills and working knowledge of Credit Union software, hardware, systems, etc.
  • Understand and support the Credit Union's security policies and standards.
  • Meet established minimum expectations.
  • Travel to and from credit union facilities using reliable transportation to support operational and technical needs.

  • Other duties as assigned. 
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of credit union products and services.
  • Ability to be bonded.
  • Ability to clear credit and criminal history check. 
  • Compliance with the U.S Patriot Act and the Credit Union’s Bank Secrecy and OFAC Policies and Procedures.
  • Compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Credit Union’s Information Security program, maintaining the privacy and security of information, systems, and locations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to sit or stand for 2-4 hours at a time.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and climb stairs.

  • Must maintain a neat and orderly work area.
  • Protect the confidentiality of credit union employees and members by locking door or removing items from desk/workstation when away.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate Degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution, or current CompTIA A , Network certification, required. 
  • One year of experience in the technology field, required.
  • VMWare, Cisco, or other industry certifications, preferred.
  • Three references acknowledging knowledge, skills, and abilities regarding technology.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite/o365 Suite.
  • Knowledge of Windows server based networked environments and components.
  • Experience with Windows Server operating systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of communications equipment and networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise network systems administration.
  • Excellent listening, clear verbal, and professional written communication skills.
