Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide clear directions to enhance their event experience
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment or supplies
• Monitor crowd flow and manage guest movement to prevent congestion or conflicts
• Enforce safety protocols, including first aid response and CPR when necessary, ensuring a secure environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems for ticketing or merchandise sales
• Support children’s activities or entertainment areas, ensuring a safe and engaging environment
• Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces, adhering to safety standards and venue policies
• Collaborate with team members to manage outdoor work conditions and adapt to changing weather or venue needs

Skills

• Proven experience in events management or hospitality environments with outdoor work experience preferred
• Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
• Certified in first aid and CPR; lifeguard or rescue experience is a plus
• Experience working with children or in food service enhances your ability to engage diverse audiences
• Familiarity with retail sales, cash handling, POS systems, and processing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of safety protocol adherence, manual handling techniques, and heavy lifting safety measures
• Excellent customer service skills paired with public speaking abilities for guest engagement
• Ability to work under pressure in busy environments while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm
