Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Schedule: 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with potential for Fridays and/or Mondays
Hours: 24–36 hours per week
Location: Adult Residential Facility
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care and supervision for three high-functioning adult males with developmental disabilities in a family-style residential home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, and grooming as needed
- Support clients with medication administration (after proper training)
- Plan and prepare meals, assist with appointments and outings
- Perform household duties including laundry, cleaning, and general upkeep
- Maintain client safety and foster positive relationships
- Observe, document, and report on client behavior and health status
- Complete accurate and timely daily documentation
Qualifications (Required):
- DSP Year 1 and Year 2 Certificates
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an Adult Residential Facility
- CPI Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Current physical exam, TB test, and COVID-19 vaccination
- Must pass state background check
