Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Carry out custodial duties across various areas including offices, production floors, break rooms, and public spaces with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and troubleshooting facility issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Support industrial cleaning efforts when necessary, including cleaning machinery and specialized equipment to meet safety standards.
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to promote a secure environment.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report needs for restocking or repairs promptly.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing is advantageous.
- Experience with general facilities maintenance or porter duties enhances your ability to perform effectively in this role.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety procedures ensures thorough and safe work practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
