Tayson Enterprises is currently seeking Mechanical Designers to join our team.
We are a steel fabrication company primarily involved in Machine Design, Product Manufacturing and Steel & Structural Fabrication.
Ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined; detail oriented, and be able to work overtime as needed.
Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, have good attendance, and strong work ethic.
SOLIDWORKS Experience a must
NOTE: This is an on site position. Sorry-there is no current opportunity for remote work, as interaction with the shop floor is required.
Responsibilities Include:
Understanding Customer Requirements and provide feedback
Make detailed solid models and drawings
Assist in Job Costing
Material Sourcing
Take products from concept to production
Some on-site visits
Other preferred qualities shall include:
Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative
Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change
Able to work independently or in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer and mathematical skills
Experience designing industry-specific products
AUTO CAD, MSOffice, Sigmanest, Sketch up
