Position Summary
In this role, you will own the day-to-day operation of our inventory control system and directly support the production of advanced computer vision inspection machines. You will forecast and enter purchase orders for parts, maintain accurate stock levels, kit builds for upcoming projects, and assist on the floor with assembly and wiring. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
~70% structured systems work and 30% practical, technical, shop-floor work
—and wants to grow with a company building real-world automation and vision systems all over the world.

Education Requirements
- BS in Electrical, Mechatronics, Systems or Computer Engineering
Work Experience Requirements
- Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Inventory Control: 2 years (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience in inventory control, materials coordination, warehouse operations, production, or assembly (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Comfortable working with inventory, ERP, or MRP systems (we will train on our tools).
- Strong attention to detail with an ownership mindset for accuracy and organization.
- Mechanical aptitude; comfortable using hand tools and working with assemblies.
- Clear, professional communication skills; able to work closely with engineers and technicians.
- Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
- In-person role at Taymer's Bowdon, GA facility (not remote/hybrid).
Qualifications
- Experience in automation, electronics, or machine/controls assembly.
- Familiarity with BOMs, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Exposure to computer vision, industrial cameras, or inspection systems.
- Bilingual preferred
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the inventory control system with a high level of accuracy.
- Forecast parts needs based on upcoming builds, sales orders, and open projects.
- Research, purchase, and test substitutes for components.
- Create, enter, and track purchase orders; monitor lead times and resolve backorders.
- Receive, inspect, and label incoming components; resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Issue and kit parts to production builds according to BOMs and project numbers.
- Support machine builds: basic mechanical assembly, panel/build wiring support, mounting components, and final hardware checks.
- Monitor quantities, reorder points, and critical components to prevent stockouts.
- Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure the right parts or their substitutions are available at the right time.
- Maintain systems for an organized, clean, and efficient stockroom and production area.
- Record and maintain post-build documentation, including usage, variances, and inventory adjustments.
- Document & optimize processes, identify waste, and find new methods to reach a completed product.
