Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Roofing and Siding Foreman to join our team and lead the installation, repair, and restoration of roofing and siding systems on a variety of residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal panels, or membranes with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Measure, cut, and fit siding materials including vinyl, wood, fiber cement, or stucco to achieve seamless finishes.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
• Operate hand tools (hammers, chisels, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and specialized equipment for cutting, fastening, and shaping materials.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, siding panels, scaffolding components, and other construction supplies safely and efficiently.
• Conduct site assessments to determine project scope; prepare surfaces by cleaning or repairing existing structures before installation.
• Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency of roofing and siding installations.
• Engage in framing carpentry for structural support when necessary; participate in masonry or concrete forming tasks during restoration projects.
• Fabricate custom components as needed using metalworking or carpentry skills; assist with remodeling or restoration efforts involving various building trades.
• Follow all safety protocols on-site; maintain a clean work environment; communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction with a focus on roofing and siding installation or repair; familiarity with construction estimating is a plus.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, plumbing basics, welding skills, tile laying experience, and restoration processes.
• Ability to perform physical tasks requiring stamina such as climbing ladders or working at heights for extended periods.
• Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards; familiarity with schematics for technical projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; capable of fabricating parts or modifications on-site when necessary.
• Good communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different trades.
• Valid driver's license preferred; relevant certifications in construction trades are advantageous.
