What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner position at Taylorville Family Medicine?
Job Summary: Provide high quality timely care to patients. They are responsible for evaluating patients, managing their needs and performing procedures.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories and record relevant data in the medical records.
· Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
· Order and interpret diagnostic, radiological and laboratory studies appropriate for the patient’s condition.
· Serve as the resource a patient needs for ongoing care information, and provide guidance for any patients and family with critical or chronic conditions.
· Adhere to ethical standards of conduct as well as applicable state and federal laws.
· Work collaboratively with all members of the clinical care team and demonstrate respect for all colleagues.
· Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Must be a licensed CRNP.
· Must have 1-3 years of experience in primary care.
