Job purpose
This job is a guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. The start time is 5:00 a.m. The Driver transports all goods to our Fishers location and makes all local deliveries.
Duties and responsibilities
The Driver is responsible for safely delivering all bakery products
- Drive a box truck
- Drive different delivery vehicles
- Safely transfer transport cabinets back and forth between two locations
- Routine bakery maintenance
Qualifications
Qualifications include, but not limited to:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Chauffeur’s License
- Outgoing personality
- Safety skills
- Working in a fast paced, high production environment
- Previous experience recommended, but not required
Working conditions
The driver is required to work Monday through Saturday. The driver is guaranteed 40 hours per week but can work more if overtime is desired. Holidays can affect the set schedule as more preparation is needed for major holidays and/or special events.
Physical requirements
There are some physical requirements as the Driver is responsible for transporting cabinets and moving other bakery equipment around.
