We are looking for a Handyman to join our team. While specific handyman experience is great, it is not a strict requirement—experience in other similar trades will do perfectly, as long as you are naturally handy and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. We want an experienced professional skilled in a wide range of hands-on tasks, including advanced carpentry, tile work, finish work, and minor remodels. This role requires a high level of independence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.

TaylorMade Renovations – Coeur d’Alene & Surrounding areas
The Handyman will handle complex repair, installation, and maintenance projects, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. As a seasoned professional, you will take on leadership responsibilities, assisting with training and mentoring junior technicians when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-level handyman services, including:
-Carpentry (framing, trim, cabinet installation, custom builds)
-Drywall repair, patching, and finishing
-Flooring installation (tile, vinyl, laminate, hardwood repairs)
-Tile work (backsplashes, flooring, grouting)
-Door and window installation/repair
-Painting and finishing work (interior/exterior)
-Deck and fence repairs/installations
-Small remodeling projects and home improvements
-Diagnose and troubleshoot repair issues efficiently.
-Work independently or lead a small team on job sites as needed.
-Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
-Maintain a clean and organized job site.
-Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
-Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians when required.
-Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project progress and any unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience as a handyman, carpenter, or in a similar trade.
-Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in carpentry, finish work, tile, and general home repair.
-Ability to read and interpret job scopes.
-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
-Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering top-quality work.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when necessary.
-Valid driver’s license
