Vice President, Director of Technology
Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Marketing
Hybrid: 2-days onsite per week
Salary: $170K - $200K
Position Summary
The VP, Director of Technology serves as the senior technology leader for client accounts and agency innovation initiatives. This individual bridges strategy, experience design, data, analytics, creative, and engineering to deliver compliant, scalable, omnichannel digital experiences for pharmaceutical brands.
The role partners closely with account, strategy, UX, analytics, creative, and production teams to architect and oversee platforms and tactics supporting HCP, patient, caregiver, and field-force engagement. The leader is responsible for technology strategy, solution architecture, AI enablement, MarTech ecosystems, operational excellence, and digital innovation programs.
Core Responsibilities
Account & Client Leadership
- Serve as senior technology lead across AOR relationships
- Advise pharmaceutical clients on digital transformation
- Participate in annual brand planning and digital roadmaps
- Lead technology workstreams during pitches, RFPs, and new business initiatives
- Translate commercial and customer engagement strategies into technology solutions
- Present technology recommendations to VP, Marketing, Brand Director, and Digital Innovation stakeholders
Technology Strategy & Architecture
- Develop technology roadmaps supporting launch and lifecycle brands
- Define enterprise digital ecosystems for pharmaceutical brands
- Lead platform selection and implementation decisions
- Establish standards for architecture, security, compliance, scalability, and performance
- Drive AI-enabled customer engagement strategies
Product, Experience & Omnichannel Delivery
