Orientation Coordinator – Safety Department

Taylor Truck Line Inc., a leading transportation company based in Northfield, MN, is seeking a dedicated Orientation Coordinator to join our Safety Department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both team-oriented and independent work environments.
While transportation experience is not required, we are looking for candidates with strong organizational and communication skills who are passionate about creating a positive onboarding experience for new hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during orientation
- Address questions, provide guidance, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Lead orientation sessions covering company policies, safety procedures, and job expectations
- Coordinate guest speakers and department representatives as needed
- Assist new hires with completing required paperwork and navigating company systems
- Track attendance and ensure all orientation requirements are completed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- General understanding of computer systems and software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in training, teaching, or similar roles is a plus
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
