Heavy Equipment Operator
Taylor Siteworks & Hauling is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our crew. We’re looking for someone who knows their way around heavy equipment, shows up ready to work, and takes pride in doing the job right.
This is hands-on work on active construction sites. You’ll be operating equipment, helping keep projects moving, and working with a team that values hard work, common sense, and safety.
What You'll Do
- Operate equipment such as dozers, backhoes, maintainers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, and similar machinery
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment before and after use to make sure everything is working properly
- Report any maintenance or repair issues
- Follow all safety rules and help keep the jobsite safe for everyone
- Work with the crew to keep projects on schedule and complete work the right way
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating heavy equipment on construction sites
- Comfortable running dozers, excavators, backhoes, maintainers, skid steers, loaders, or similar equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to spot equipment issues before they become bigger problems
- Valid Class C driver’s license
- Dependable, hard-working, and able to adapt to different jobs and site conditions
- Someone who works well with others and takes pride in their work
Nice to Have
- Experience with multiple types of equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment problems
- Construction, site work, or roadwork experience
