What are the responsibilities and job description for the Processing Production Worker position at Taylor Shellfish?
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
This position works in a production area processing different species of shellfish. The schedule is Monday – Friday with a start time varying from 5-7am. Requires working with live, raw and/or cooked products. Usually works five days a week; overtime may be required based on production needs. Adheres to all safety requirements including PPP(Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions maintain a clean and safe work environment.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Adhere to company production standards and guidelines

Packaging and getting products ready for shipment

Ensure product getting packed is up to company standards

Report any safety and company policy violations to the manager

Report equipment in need of repairs to the manager

Maintains a positive and cohesive work environment

Compliance to safety and regulatory concerns

May be required to do other tasks as needed

Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

The employee may be required to stoop, bend, kneel, twist, and squat

The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Must be able to speak and hear well enough to communicate with co-workers, supervisors and managers

Must be able to use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation

Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary : $18 - $24
