About the Job
As a Commercial Refrigeration & Restaurant Equipment Service Technician based in Birmingham, AL, you will travel to customer locations throughout the region to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of commercial restaurant equipment. You’ll be the face of Taylor Sales & Service in the field — your technical excellence and professionalism directly impact our customers’ ability to operate their businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose equipment malfunctions on the first visit by identifying root causes rather than surface-level symptoms.
- Perform skilled repairs on commercial refrigeration and restaurant equipment in compliance with all applicable codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Complete all service documentation, parts requests, and work orders thoroughly and on time.
- Build trusted relationships with restaurant operators by communicating findings clearly and following up to confirm lasting resolution.
Our Customers include but not limited to: Outback, Chick-Fil-A, McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Subway, Papa johns, Arby's, Sonic, Dairy Queen, and many more. We also service many local restaurants. We are a Authorized Middleby Service Agent for the entire State of Alabama.
