Position Overview: As a Commercial/Residential Roofing Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, managing inbound leads, cultivating relationships, and closing sales for residential steep slope and commercial low slope roofing projects. Your primary focus will be on meeting with homeowners and or business owners, assessing their roofing needs, and providing them with tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, cold calling, and door-to-door canvassing.
- Conduct thorough assessments of homeowners and business owners’ roofing needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential customers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details.
- Collaborate closely with the roofing installation team to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay informed about industry trends, products, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in residential and/or commercial sales, in the roofing or construction industry (5 year's experience required).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
