About This Role
Taylor's Construction is seeking Groundmen to support telecommunications construction crews with fiber installation and utility pole projects. This entry-level role is ideal for those beginning a career in telecom construction.
What You'll Do
- Assist crews with loading/unloading fiber, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain safe and clean work areas around telecom construction sites.
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment under supervision.
- Provide traffic control and site setup support.
- Perform manual labor tasks to support fiber installation and pole placement.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to perform physical labor outdoors in all conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work as part of a crew.
- Valid driver’s license, preferred.
- Strong desire to learn fiber optic and telecom construction skills.
