A well-established and growing family law practice is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team. We are looking for a motivated, self-sufficient attorney who can hit the ground running, manage matters independently, and provide exceptional advocacy for clients.
Qualification
- 5 years of matrimonial and family law experience
- Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Experience handling hearings, conferences, motions, and client counseling
- Admission to the New York Bar in good standing
What You'll Do
- Represent clients in divorce, custody, support, and other family law matters
- Appear regularly in court and advocate on behalf of clients
- Manage cases from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Maintain direct client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $140,000 - $170,000
- Discretionary Bonus Opportunity
- Billable Requirement: 1,600 hours annually
