Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As an Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment, including excavators, tractors, loaders, and more. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment, including excavators, tractors, loaders, and rental fleet items.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Repair small engines used in rental equipment.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and their components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A valid driver's license is required for this position.
- Bringing own tools is a plus
