Rental Shop Technician
The Rental Shop Technician will be responsible for assisting with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and working with equipment daily. The Rental Shop Technician is also responsible for assisting with check in/out of rental and equipment at the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
Position Responsibilities
- Check in/out rental equipment and take detailed pictures.
- Perform paint touchup and bodywork on equipment as needed.
- Power wash, clean, and detail equipment and attachments
- Service and minor repair of equipment, components, systems, and attachments.
- Think ahead and plan methods and sequence of performing assigned duties.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Operate forklift and equipment.
- Record equipment maintenance
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and methods established by the company.
- Maintain and care for all shop tools, equipment, and vehicles in your possession.
- Performs other tasks as requested by manager
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills
- Troubleshooting and Communication skills
- Experience with small to medium equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- High school diploma or equivalent
