Are you ready to build a long-term career in outside sales within the power generation industry?
Taylor Power Systems is seeking a motivated Sales Representative Trainee to join our Sales Division. This opportunity includes a structured, hands-on training program lasting approximately one year, preparing you to manage a direct sales territory and sell generators, transfer switches, and related power solutions.
In this role, you will learn how to:
✅ Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
✅ Identify new business opportunities within an assigned territory
✅ Prepare detailed customer quotes and proposals
✅ Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and active projects
✅ Deliver presentations to customers, trade associations, and industry groups
✅ Represent Taylor Power Systems at trade shows and networking events
The ideal candidate will bring previous sales experience, strong people and follow-up skills, mechanical aptitude, and confidence communicating with customers at all levels. Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, generators, or technical sales is a plus.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing is preferred; however, a combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.
