What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brake Press Operator - C1 position at TAYLOR POWER SYSTEMS INC?
Job Accountabilities:
Primary Function: Producing fabricated parts and assemblies with various manual and CNC equipment.
- Performs at skill levels including, but not limited to, operating drill presses, sanders, saws, ordinary hand tools, straightening press, welder, cutting torch, ripping machine, CNC metal processing machine, CNC plate processing machine, CNC Metal Processor, fork lift, etc.
- Responsible for own work within a group requiring coordination with other members of the group in order to maintain production.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Provides instruction and/or training as qualified.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Job Requirements:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training and a High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must work well with others and possess good people skills.
- Job requires stooping, bending, climbing, and capability of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must pass test to operate fork-lift.
