Join our dynamic team as a Journeyman or Master Plumber and take charge of installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across diverse construction projects. Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including domestic water systems, waste disposal, and HVAC-related piping on construction sites.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing plans aligned with project specifications.
  • Manage plumbing teams by supervising work activities, coordinating tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and building codes.
  • Conduct construction estimating for plumbing projects by assessing materials, labor needs, and project scope to support accurate budgeting.
  • Perform plumbing system maintenance and repairs efficiently while minimizing downtime on both residential and commercial sites.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory standards during all phases of work.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding apparatus, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively.
  • Analyze building plans for proper installation sequences; interpret technical schematics to troubleshoot issues quickly during field service or remodeling projects.
  • Oversee construction site safety practices related to plumbing installation; manage heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, inspections completed, and compliance documentation for project accountability.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing systems including residential and commercial applications.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing building codes, local regulations, and building code analysis for compliance assurance.
  • Skilled in managing plumbing teams; capable of supervising multiple workers on large-scale projects while maintaining high safety standards.
  • Experience with construction estimating processes to support project planning and resource allocation.
  • Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and HVAC components.
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders throughout the installation or repair process.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements, material estimates, and project calculations.
  • Familiarity with construction site experience including remodeling projects; adept at managing field service tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of construction regulatory compliance requirements; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise execution.
