Position Summary
Mid-size Fort Worth law firm looking for a full-time, experienced litigation and appellate attorney to provide legal services encompassing a wide range of municipal law issues. Duties will primarily include handling all aspects of litigation for the firm’s municipal clients, as well as analyzing legal issues, communicating legal advice to the firm’s clients, drafting and analyzing briefs, sitting first chair in state and federal courts, training and mentoring litigation associates. Compensation commensurate with experience, willing to pay above market for the right candidate. Comprehensive Benefit Package. Confidentiality will be maintained.
Requirements
Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas. Must have 8 years of litigation and appellate experience, experience representing municipalities in Texas preferred but not required. Must have excellent writing, research, and communication skills and be suited for private practice with billable hours.
