Overview
Taylor Oilfield Mfg. Inc. is looking for an experienced Quality Supervisor in a manufacturing setting at our Broussard Facility. Taylor Oilfield Mfg. is a well-established machine shop that is certified in API Q1, licensed API 7-1, and ISO 9001:2015.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist Quality Manager with maintaining the Quality Management System daily with NCR’s, CAR’s, Records, etc.
Maintain calibration of company Inspection, Measuring & Test Equipment
Assist Quality Manager with Audits
Must be able to use and set all shop instruments such as OD micrometers, ID micrometers, Dial bore gauges, taper, lead, and thread height gauges.
Individual applying for this position to be willing and able to perform and train all aspects of machine shop inspection (Receiving, first articles, in process and final inspection). Additionally, this position requires interacting with shipping and receiving and all other shop processes.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
Familiar with API Q1, API Spec 7-1, ISO 9001, and DS-1 specifications.
Must be able to read and understand complex machine drawings.
Microsoft Office experience is a must. (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Audit experience a plus.
Other
Must be willing to undergo background check, drug screen and physical pre to hiring.
