Job Summary
Monday - Friday (Days)
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on CNC machines, and performing general facilities maintenance. Technicians must also use diagnostic tools, read technical manuals, and replace parts to ensure machinery operates efficiently and with minimal downtime.
Experience
- A.A.S. degree in an industrial maintenance field or its equivalent plus five (5) years of CNC experience to include all systems including but not limited to hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic (PLC).
Preventative Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections and planned maintenance on CNC machines and other equipment.
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
- Check and adjust machine components, such as tooling and spindle speeds, to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting and repairs:
- Diagnose and repair, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic issues with machines.
- Troubleshoot problems with complex systems like PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, and field sensors.
- Pull and replace components such as ball screws, linear guides, and gearboxes.
- Perform machine leveling and alignment.
Technical and administrative tasks:
- Read and interpret machine manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents to research and resolve issues.
- Use diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters and infrared scanning tools.
- Identify and order necessary replacement parts.
- Complete and maintain work orders and service records.
- Support new equipment installations.
General facilities maintenance:
- Conduct general repairs on facility equipment, such as plumbing, flooring, and HVAC systems.
- Work with external suppliers and other maintenance personnel.
Perform work in a safe manner
- Keep area neat and clean.
- Follow health and safety rules
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervision.lic, and control systems to thrive in this challenging environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
