What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) / Warehouse Associate position at Taylor Metal Products?
Job Purpose:
Delivery Drivers are responsible for the expedient and safe delivery of company products and providing a positive customer service experience for our customers. Delivery Drivers are also responsible for the final window of quality control to comply with company standards and customer specifications.

Essential Functions:
- Obey all local and state traffic laws
- Drive delivery vehicle within safe operating manner and capacity
- Read maps and follow written/verbal directions
- Willing to stay overnight when servicing long distance job sites
- Verify contents of delivery/pick-up
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicle
- Safely secure loads for transportation
- Maintain records as required
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle
- Report any delays, accidents, or other significant obstructions to duties to appropriate personnel
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and team members in an effective and positive manner
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Operate hand-tools.
- Visually inspect product for quality control and/or defects.
- Take and follow verbal directions.
- Stand for long period of time.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Drive forklift.
- Read tape measure.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedure.
- All Warehouse Associate employees may be required to assist in other departments on an occasional basis.
