We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Metrology Inspector to ensure that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities
- Conduct precise inspections using calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications.
- Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for detailed dimensional analysis.
- Collect, analyze, and document data related to quality metrics and inspection results for continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, including documentation updates and process validations.
- Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve non-conformances.
- Assist in training team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, and proper use of measurement tools.
Skills
- Proven experience with CMM Programing
- Proficiency in operating measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, Vision systems, CMM's and other precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating across departments.
