What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Level 3 / Louisville, MS position at Taylor Logistics Inc.?
Primary Function: To function as a member of the Utility Group. Performs duties as a Fork Lift operator, Dispatcher Expediter/Driver, Tool Kit Dispatcher, Steel Receiving, and Welding Crib Attendant.
Tools and Equipment: Various types of equipment including but not limited to small drill presses, sanders, saws, saws, ordinary hand tools, fork lift, brooms, wheel barrows, shovel, scoop, waste containers, gas powered sweeper, janitorial supplies, hot carts, overhead crane, stock room, company vehicles, etc.
Materials: All parts and products, materials, supplies, fuels, oil, water, metal shavings, oil absorbent compound, rags, paper towels, grinding disks, building materials, etc.
Source of Supervision: Foreman
Direction Exercised: None
Working Procedure
Functions as a member of utility labor. Performs at skill levels including, but not limited to, material handling, stock room, crib attendants, receiving, etc. Responsible for own work within a group requiring coordination with other members of the group in order to maintain production, some designated operators may require pertinent DOT certificates. Performs other duties as assigned. Provides instruction and/or training as required.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Must hold any governmental mandated certificates and licenses.
