What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at Taylor Freezer of CT?
The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations.
Core products: Frozen dessert equipment, frozen beverage equipment, Commerical Grills
Target customers: Restaurants, bars, delis, convenience stores, resorts, country clubs, concession stands, hotels, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and any foodservice establishments
Responsibilities
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
- Service existing clients
- Effectively demonstrate product line
- Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
- Deliver solutions that drive measurable ROI for foodservice operators
- Strong knowledge of local territory and ability to self-generate leads
- CRM maintenance
- Generate leads independently while leveraging company-provided support
- Demonstrate strong follow-up and pipeline management skills
Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Experience in foodservice sales, hospitality management
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Proven relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- Reliable transportation with valid
- Background check and drug test required
- Must live in Connecticut
