About the Role: As a Manager and Fitness Coach at Taylor Fitness, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members. Your role is to create a welcoming, clean, and professional environment while supporting our mission to help every member feel valued and motivated in their fitness journey.
Position Overview
As a Gym Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of your location — ensuring daily operations run smoothly, your team performs at a high level, and members experience the best version of Taylor Fitness every day.
You’ll lead by example, coach and motivate your team, and take ownership of your gym’s success in sales, cleanliness, and member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of fitness coaches and front desk staff
- Drive membership growth through effective sales and community engagement
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members
- Handle member concerns professionally and efficiently
- Ensure all staff are trained, informed, and following company standards
- Manage schedules, inventory, and supplies
- Complete weekly reports and communicate regularly with upper management
- Oversee failed payments, cancellations, and member communication
- Represent Taylor Fitness values of hard work, honesty, and growth in everything you do

Customer Service:
- Greet every member with a smile and learn members' names.
- Answer questions about memberships, services, and facility.
- Handle check-ins, phone calls, and basic member support.
Membership Sales:
- Give gym tours and sign up new members using our software system.
- Share current promotions and help members find the best fit for their goals.
Facility Upkeep:
- Clean and sanitize gym equipment and common areas during every shift.
- Follow daily cleaning checklists to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Team Support and Coaching:
- Provide knowledge of equipment to any and all members
- Be familiar with our gym equipment
- Communicate clearly with management and fellow staff.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team
Preferred (but not required):
- Customer service experience
- Passion for health and fitness
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
