Overview
Taylor Diversion Programs, located in Sheffield, PA, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Career and Technology Coordinator to provide meaningful programs that connect youth (ages 14 - 21) with relevant career guidance and technological opportunities. This role offers opportunitities to empower youth through strategic guidance, mentorship, and comprehensive educational support. As an integral part of our educational and workforce programs, the Coordinator will foster collaboration among teachers, students, and industry partners to enhance career readiness and technological competence. The ultimate goal of this position is to provide programs that will that prepare our youth for success in today’s evolving workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive career development programs tailored to diverse youth needs, integrating industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Provide training and guidance on career pathways, resume building, interview techniques, and professional skills in the career/technology arena.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to guide youth through career and technology exploration.
- Collaborate with teachers and industry partners to design curriculum that incorporate real-world technology applications and workforce requirements.
Experiences:
- Knowledge of working directly with students or youth (ages 14-21) in technical training, career and/or workforce environments.
- Prior involvement in teaching or training roles that require engaging youth audiences in exploring a myriad of career and technology opportunities.
Pay: $48,940.64 - $55,000.00 per year
