Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with diesel engines, fuel injection systems, and general heavy-duty vehicle maintenance. You will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines while ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel injection systems, and related components.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive service on commercial and personal diesel vehicles.
- Troubleshoot engine, transmission, and electronic control system issues.
- Work with diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and solve mechanical and electrical problems.
- Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and customer service documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel engine repair or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of fuel injection systems, engine diagnostics, and mechanical repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in diesel mechanics preferred.
