What Were Looking For
Taylor CPA & Associates, PC is searching for a talented individual to add to our Tax Department. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience with corporate, individual, and partnership taxation.
- Minimum three years of experience with CCH Axcess and QuickBooks Software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required
What Youll Be Doing
- Preparing business and individual tax returns
- Communicating with taxing authorities, writing memos, or attending client meetings.
- Collaborating with professionals with diverse skill sets and areas of expertise on client matters
- Engaging in regular discussions with your colleagues to exchange ideas and feedback
- Attending training sessions to sharpen you technical skills and learn how to best serve your clients. Assemble tax return packages for client/government filings, including e-filings
- Create financial and statistical tools and reports for management, using spreadsheets
- Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications
- Maintain and track the extended returns and mark returns completed and roll them to next years due date
- Onboarding new clients
- Assisting in updating Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents at least once annually
- Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time/Part-Time/Seasonal
Schedule:
- 5-8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Some weekends during busy season
- Remote work may be considered for the right candidate

- Atlanta, GA 30316: Reliably commute or is planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- Bachelor (Preferred)
- Associate
Experience:
- Tax accounting: 2 years (Required)
- Microsoft Outlook: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPA Candidate (Preferred)
