The full-time Chief Deputy Treasurer will assume responsibility in the Treasurer’s office in the absence of the County Treasurer. Individual will manage, maintain, balance and reconcile the County checking account, provide assistance to customers seeking information on tax bills, assessments, fair market values and acreage. Individual will process and prepare bank deposit, reconcile cash drawer, process NSF checks, receive and receipt all funds from County Departments and payments of second half property taxes and enter monthly records for auditors and County.
Applicant must have an Associate Degree in Accounting or related field with 3-5 years of accounting experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience working with a cash drawer is preferred.
