What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Assembler position at Taylor Commercial Foodservice LLC?
Description
Hours are non-negotiable
Core 8 hours: 6:00AM-2:30PM.
All employees need to be available between the hours of 5am and 3:30PM when overtime is required.
Saturdays will be required when overtime is needed
BASIC FUNCTION:
Assembles various units according to production specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Reads machine tags, standard parts list, production orders, and blueprints.
- Retrieves parts.
- Moves units to and from work stations.
- Operates various equipment and machinery.
- Assembles various subassemblies (i.e. shells, condensers, power blocks, etc.).
- Performs various assembly operations (i.e. assembling, soldering, wiring, mechanical, electrical, brazing, etc.).
- Inspects unit and parts to verify conformance to print specifications and insure quality standards are met.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and follows safe work practice rules.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: One year related work experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Manual Dexterity: Work requires regular speed and accuracy for most of the working day.
- Physical Effort: Work requires a considerable variety of fairly steady active physical exertion.
- Working Conditions: More frequent exposure to disagreeable features.
- Hazards: Injury may require a doctor's care. Time lost for part of a day may be to receive medical treatment.
