What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Tax Preparer position at Tax Pros USA?
Family owned and operated Accounting & Tax office is looking to hire "experienced" Tax Preparers for the 2023-2024 tax season. Candidates are expected to possess a minimal 3-4 years experience when applying for immediate openings at both office locations. Due to the nature and skills required to be successful, a college degree in accounting or related field is preferred but consideration will be given for experience in lieu of degree.
We have offices located in Middletown and La Grange. Ability to work at both locations is preferred but not required.
New team members will be required to :
- Complete accurate personal tax returns using latest Taxwise software.
- Have an IRS tax preparer PTIN #.
- Be able to work 40 hours including Saturdays during the upcoming tax season.
- Possess excellent organization and communication skills.
- Maintain outstanding customer service skills at all times throughout the tax season.
This employment opportunity is listed as "temporary" and new team members should expect to be employed through June 30th 2025.
Permanent year-round employment with appropriate salary may be offered after tax season to those applicants who posses excellent tax preparation, communication, and accounting skills!
