Assistant Office Manager

Tax Plus is expanding and looking for strong tax professionals and emerging leaders who are ready to help run a high-performing tax office. This role combines people leadership, client service, accountability, compliance and office performance.

COMPENSATION & OPPORTUNITY

$22–$30/hour Performance Incentives based on experience, qualifications and role requirements. Eligible positions may include performance-based earning opportunities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist the Store Manager with daily office operations
• Supervise and support Tax Preparers and administrative staff
• Coach and develop team members
• Monitor client service, appointments and office workflow
• Prepare and review tax returns when qualified
• Help ensure IRS and Tax Plus compliance standards are followed
• Resolve client questions and concerns professionally
• Monitor follow-ups, retention, referrals and reviews
• Help the office achieve performance goals
• Participate in management meetings and leadership training

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Tax preparation or tax-office experience strongly preferred
• Previous leadership, supervisory or management experience preferred
• Active PTIN required if preparing tax returns
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coach and hold team members accountable
• Organized, dependable and comfortable in a high-volume environment
• CrossLink experience is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
