About the role:
Case Managers operate as the primary points of contact for our tax resolution clients, who work in tandem with our Tax Professionals to ensure that clients are updated, informed, and up to date with their documentation and tax compliance. The Case Managers provide their Tax Professionals all the necessary information needed for the Pro to determine what the best resolution option is for their clients. Similar to a paralegal, our Case Managers primarily operate as a liaison, collecting documents, conducting analyses on cases, and communicating with tax professionals on strategy and criteria.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the progress of each case to ensure smooth and timely movement toward resolution
- Send, receive, and upload necessary documents for client cases using appropriate systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns
- Act as an intermediary between clients, Enrolled Agents (EAs), Tax Attorneys, and other professionals involved in the case
- Assist in preparing and organizing case files and ensuring compliance with tax resolution processes
Candidate requirements:
- Tax Resolution knowledge preferred
- High School Diploma
- Ability to prioritize workflow and deadlines
- Time Management
Essential Job Requirements:
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods.
- Ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment on a daily basis.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact professionally with clients over the phone and by email.
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move office materials up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
