What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Administrator position at Tax Analysts?
Performs bi-weekly tasks related to all aspects of payroll processing including timesheet review, creating batches for time and attendance and adjustments to calculate and submit payroll in coordination with ADP Workforce Now Comprehensive Payroll Service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex payroll processing and reporting
- Ability to work in a timely fashion with minimal supervisory direction
- Proficient in computerized payroll functions
- Precise attention to detail
- Ability to create various excel spreadsheets and ADP reports as needed
- Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with employees at all levels of the organization
- Understanding of federal, state and local tax payment regulations
- Ability to responsibly handle confidential employee data
- Demonstrated dependability through punctual attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules
- Conform to and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
- General knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices
- BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
- 5 years of related experience
- Experience in accounting, payroll, and/or spreadsheet software preferred
- Recent experience with ADP WFN
