Essential Job Functions
- Review and complete: tax preparations by accountants and bookkeepers (including individuals, S-corp, C-corp, partnership, trust, and gift tax returns), payroll documents, financial statements, sales tax returns, and personal property declarations
- Educate: assist in the growth of knowledge for other staff on proper preparation and evaluation methods consistent with industry standards and compliance requirements, including reviews and compilations
- High billable hours and production time, working at the top of credentials
- Maintain quality client relationships
- Other duties as assigned
- 5-8 years as a CPA (mid-level) with high level tax and financial preparation
- 3-5 years experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, bank accounts, balance sheets, profit/loss statements, etc.
- Cooperative and patient while working with less experienced staff members
- In addition to the Benefits listed, CPE hours are covered, as approved, by the owner
- This position is eligible for production-based bonuses
- Working hours are full-time, Monday - Friday (times negotiable), with overtime expected during tax season, and you must live in (or relocate to) Reno and/or surrounding areas.
