Our El Paso office is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Litigation Medical Records Clerk to join our litigation team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced work, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to play a key role in building strong injury cases.
What You’ll Do
- Communicate with clients regarding medical treatment status
- Request, obtain, and organize medical and billing records
- Review and summarize medical and billing records for litigation
- Ensure records are accurate, complete, and HIPAA-compliant
- Verify affidavits and supporting documentation
- Prepare and electronically file legal documents
- Calendar and manage strict litigation and trial deadlines
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and litigation staff
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of office experience (legal or medical preferred)
- Experience with medical records, billing, or personal injury cases strongly preferred
- Ability to read and understand medical terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced law office
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Typing speed of 40 WPM
