We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Production Line Worker. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation, cooking, and packaging of food items in a fast-paced production environment. Chinese food cooking knowledge and Basic English communication skills are required to follow instructions, work with team members, and maintain safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in production according to standardized operation procedures.
- Operate kitchen and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Portion, package, and label finished food products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Assist with inventory and restocking of ingredients.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Experience with Chinese cuisine (e.g., stir-fry, steaming, dumplings, sauces) preferred
- Ability to communicate in basic English (speaking, reading instructions)
- Previous experience in a food production or kitchen environment is an asset
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Fast-paced food production facility or commercial kitchen
- Exposure to heat, noise, and cooking odors
