- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or restaurant environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest relations, serving, and hotel experience is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest services skills are essential
