What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Taves Contracting Services?
As a Laborer, you’ll start each day at our shop, loading trucks and trailers with materials needed for that day’s job. This is an outdoor position, and you’ll be working in various weather conditions. We’re looking for team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring a great attitude, and take pride in quality craftsmanship. Some overnight travel may be required.
What You'll Do:
- Measure and lay out fence lines to ensure proper installation on customer properties
- Install a variety of fencing types with precision and attention to detail
- Operate equipment safely and responsibly
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure trucks/trailers are loaded correctly and safely
- Unload and clean trucks/trailers at the end of each workday
- Provide courteous, professional interaction with customers on-site
- Assist with other tasks and duties as needed

- Experience in fence installation is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person
Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
