**Looking For a Skilled Automotive Technician with Extensive Used Car Experience**
The Taverna Automotive Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Technician! We’re a rapidly growing dealer group on the hunt for a top-notch technician with a knack in diagnosing and servicing used cars. If you’ve got the skills and the experience to back it up, we’re ready to reward your expertise with top dollar pay and up to a $5,000 signing bonus.
With over 600 used retail units sold each month and a steady flow of service work – our technicians average 45-55 hours/week minimum. If you have extensive used car mechanic experience and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
Experience with European makes and/or Electrical Diagnostic Experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently perform a wide range of repairs, from minor fixes to major overhauls, ensuring top-quality workmanship.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems across various makes and models, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, steering, electrical, and air conditioning.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to test and troubleshoot vehicle components with precision.
- Prepare vehicles for resale by addressing mechanical concerns, ensuring they meet dealership quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with Service Director providing accurate estimates for any additional repair needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing used cars across various makes and models.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
