What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Tavern on Main?
Tavern On Main in Jeffersonville, NY is looking for an experienced line cook to join our kitchen staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prep food for service: chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other activities.
- Ability to be trained to work different stations on the line.
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory
- Help with cleanliness as necessary
- Break down boxes
- Other as directed by our Chef
The right candidate will:
- Have experience and training in a commercial kitchen
- Be punctual and reliable and understand the value of team work
- Take initiative in identifying and solving problems
- Enjoy working and bring a positive attitude with good communication skills
