Tavern On Main in Jeffersonville, NY is looking for team members to join our kitchen staff. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, reliable, loves working in a kitchen and knows how to work as part of a team. Willingness to pitch in and do whatever it takes to have a successful night is a must. A successful employee with us is willing and able to do whatever task needs to be done to execute a flawless evening for our customers and to help out his fellow employee.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prep food for service: chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other activities.
- Ability to be trained to work different stations on the line.
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory
- Help with cleanliness (dishes, floor) as necessary
- Break down boxes
- Other as directed by the Chef
